Unlock a mind-bending chapter of DC’s modern cult-classic run with H-E-R-O #12, published in March 2004. Written by the masterful Will Pfeifer and paired with sleek interior pencils by Leonard Kirk, this issue takes the legendary "Dial H for Hero" concept and turns it completely on its head.
Kicking off the fan-favorite three-part storyline "Changes," the plot follows a macho construction worker named Joe Hamill who discovers the mysterious H-Device while working on a demolition site. When he activates it, he gets a shock to the system: he transforms into the powerful female superhero Electro Lass (also known as Shocking Suzi). To make matters worse, he immediately loses the device, leaving him trapped as a heroine with no idea how to change back. Meanwhile, original H-Dial owner Robby Reed orchestrates a daring escape from a prison plane, setting up a collision course of chaotic events.
