Artemis: Requiem #2 (1996)

Artemis: Requiem #2 pushes Artemis of Bana-Mighdall into a darker corner of the DC Universe as she begins a new chapter following her time as Wonder Woman. Released in May 1996 with a July 1996 cover date, the issue comes from writer William Messner-Loebs and artist Ed Benes as part of the six-issue Artemis: Requiem limited series.

Taking on the identity of Requiem, Artemis becomes involved with the Hellenders, a team dedicated to battling demons and other supernatural threats. Her experience with the Underworld makes her a powerful addition to the group, while Henrietta Jessup begins training alongside her as Sojourner.
